“I am a songwriter/musician from the Central Mass area known as The Casket. I’ve been in the “scene” for the better part of a decade in one form or another, and I have worked with quite a few photographers on different projects over the years. Most have been decent in one or two areas, but it wasn’t until I met Johnny at a show he was shooting and saw his work that I was absolutely blown away.
Of course there are plenty of photographers who have a good eye and, with the right equipment, can get a few good shots. However, with Johnny, not only is the finished product second to none (and I MEAN it, I’ll take the Pepsi challenge on that any day) but working with him is an absolute wonder. By now I’m sure it seems like I’m just blowing smoke, but this is coming from a lifelong artist who has had to work with some real pains in the a*sses and cannot overstate how stress free and downright FUN it was to work with someone so talented yet so easy to get along with. That was worth it’s weight in gold. And speaking of gold...
I almost didn’t believe him when he let me know what his price for a promo shoot was (and actually that it was also the same price as a live shoot as well). I had seen his work, and heard the rate he charged, and almost expected to be hit with about 300% more in the type of “hidden fees” that are typically warned against in cell phone service provider commercials. Nope, no tricks. No scams. Just top-tier photography and almost laughably low rates.
TL;DR - Don’t pass on So Behold This. I can GUARANTEE you will never find better quality work at a better price from a better human being. I for one am not only excited to have Johnny as a part of The Casket’s promotional team, but I’m incredibly honored to be able to count him among my friends.”
